How does Magnolia Laundry Solutions work?
Students sign up online and receive a Magnolia laundry bag. Throughout the week, students can drop off dirty laundry and pick up clean laundry during our scheduled campus route stops. We professionally wash, dry, and neatly fold everything before returning it ready to go.
How much laundry fits in the bag?
Our student bag holds 2 to 3 loads or 20 to 30 pounds. Our residential bag holds 3 to 4 loads of laundry
or 30 to 40 pounds.
When will I receive my laundry bag?
We will be available during move-in days with Magnolia bags ready for pickup. Prior to move-in, we will communicate exactly where our team and pickup locations will be located on campus.
Do I need to separate my lights and darks?
No! We handle all the separation for you!
What if I miss my drop off/pickup time?
So you're busy, we understand. We have several options for you if you miss your drop off/pickup time. You can stop by one of our other scheduled stop locations to drop off/pickup your laundry. You can bring your laundry to us which is approximately 5 minutes from campus. You can also wait until your next schedule drop off time which is most cases is the very next day. If none of these options work, give us a call and we'll work something out.
What about delicates/athletic wear?
We take care of your delicates and athletic wear just like you do at home. These items will be fan dried and folded back into the bag with the rest of your laundry.
Are my clothes washed by themselves?
Yes! Each customer will get their own washer and dryer(or 2)! Bags between customers will not be mixed under any circumstance.
How do students drop-off and receive laundry?
If you are a student who lives in the dorm, we will pick-up and drop off your laundry the same time each week. You will come to our pick-up/delivery location, generally in the parking lot that serves your dorm, and give us your laundry. We will take it, wash it and return it to you at the next scheduled drop-off/pick-up time which is generally 48 hours after you drop of your bag.
How often will you be on campus?
Campus routes operate Sunday through Thursday each week during the school year. From our experience, students can be a little harder to find on Fridays and Saturdays. Students are welcome to pick-up their bag at our in town location on week days.
I'd like to sign-up for your weekly service, how does the billing work?
After the first payment of $24.99, your next payment will not be due until the second service which is usually the second week of school. (Some students choose to start a week or two earlier because of early campus arrival for rush.) This first payment reserves your spot, and you will not be billed again until the second service.
Where are the pickup and delivery stops located?
Our campus route stops are typically located in or near the parking areas that service the dorm where your student lives. Prior to move-in and throughout the school year, we communicate route locations and schedules so students know exactly where to meet the van. Before move-in, we’ll also provide exact GPS coordinates for each van stop.
What detergent(s) do you use?
We primarily use Tide and All Free & Clear detergent. Diva scent upgrades are also available for customers who would like an added fresh scent for select items and linens. You can select your detergent type when you sign-up.
How does dry-cleaning work?
Students receive separate bags for wash & fold service and dry cleaning. Dry cleaning is picked up and delivered at the same campus route stops as regular laundry service. Dry cleaning items are charged individually, just like traditional at-home dry cleaning service.
How long does it take for dry cleaning to come back?
Most dry cleaning items are returned within 48 hours. Occasionally, specialty fabrics or heavily soiled items may require additional processing time — especially after football weekends and fraternity events when things can occasionally get a little muddy.
